Speaker:  Bill Dimmer, Civil Air Search & Rescue Association 
Topic:    Search and Rescue Canada - an expertise respected around the world, yet little known at home

Narrative will be about the scope and needs in such a huge area and anecdotal references to available resources and how needs are met.
 

The mission of the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) is to support Canada’s Search and Rescue (SAR) program and to promote SAR awareness.

From the Winspear website:   A skilled pilot, Bill is an active air crew member and instructor with the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and teaches ground school at the Edmonton Flying Club. He has been known to fly colleagues to remote northern communities as part of the National Arts Centre’s music outreach clinics.

Also during this meeting a presentation will be made to our recent Integrity Awards Recipient, Joe Cloutier, CEO, Inner City Youth Development Association.
