Speaker: Marlene Orr, CEO, Native Counseling Services

Title: Reconciliation, allyship and walking together

Marlene's presentation will explore the concept of Indigenous allyship. The importance of having non-Indigenous allies will be explored including the goal of allyship. The presentation will provide insight into privilege, define allyship and offer suggestions on what being an ally to Indigenous people means and what is required of allies.

Also note this is the "regional holiday" for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
