Submit your registration no later than midnight on Jan 15, 2025.
Your teams * ft x 10ft designated space will be available starting Feb 4, 2025 from from 9 AM until 4 Pm, Feb 5, 2025 from 9 AM until 4 PM and Feb 6, 2025 from 9 AM until 4 PM. The event takes place fFeb 6, 2025 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
No payment is required for registration of your nonprofit Wichita Falls Hunger Awareness display for the "Building for Building for Tomorrow One Can at a Time" Wichita Falls Rotary Clubs Fundraising Event. Check the $1 payment under "Register your non-profit and type "1" in the box under "add-ons" box fo accept your $1 discount.
Rules for Can Sculpture Build Event
Sculpture Build Contestants are asked to complete the form below.
●Materials:
○ Need to purchase your own cans.
○ Use only unopened canned goods or approved non-perishable food items.
○ Adhesives, tape, or other materials must not damage or alter cans.
● Structure Guidelines
: ○ Build space is designated 8ft x 10ft the spaces will be marked off at the venue
○ Maximum Height of structures is 6ft, for safety purposes
. ○ Structures must be stable and freestanding.
● Team Conduct:
○ Teams must complete their builds within a designated time.
○ No tampering with other teams' builds.
● Safety:
○ Avoid sharp edges or hazards in designs.
○ Follow venue safety requirements.
● Judging Criteria: Set up a "community favorite" vote:
○ Place a container or bucket near each sculpture where people can "vote" by contributing an additional can or a small donation.
○ The sculpture with the most cans in its bucket gets extra recognition.
● Post-Event Donation:
○ All food items used in the sculpture will be donated to Wichita Falls Area Bank
