         1:30 to 2:00 Guest Speaker:  Chrystal Kornegay, Undersecretary, Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development.  UnderSecretary Kornegay will be focusing on Homelessness and Hunger in our District and State and what we can do to support state initiatives.

Service Projects:  from 8:00 to 11:30
Saturday Morning Service Projects are scheduled throughout the local area, arranged by Beverly, Salem, Peabody, Wakefield and Lynn Presidents/President-Elects/Past Presidents.  If you want to participate make sure you answer yes to the service project question when you register. You will be notified which service project you are assigned to prior to the conference.  Transportation to and from the Hawthorne Hotel is on your own.  Contact the team leader if you wish to car pool.
 
    Family Promise:  330 Rantoul St, Beverly.  Painting.  Needs are 8-10 Rotarians.

    Toiletry Based Bags for the Homeless:  Hawthorn Hotel, Second Floor, Salem.  Start time 8:30 am.  
                    Team Leader:  Viktoria Talebian, President Salem Club
At the Hawthorne Inn:  we will be making 250 much needed toiletry bags (requested by the homeless shelters) that will be distributed to homeless shelters.  Items are currently being collected as follows:
                           Salem Club:  deodorant and toothbrushes/toothpaste for children and adults
                           Beverly Club:  Notebooks, Pens
                            Ipswich Club:  combs and toilet paper
                            Lynn Club:  sports socks for children and adults
                            Peabody Club:  soap/body wash
 
Greater Salem NH has donated $500 worth of supplies for our bags including notebooks as well as playing cards.  We are also asking for donations of activity books for children.  If you wish to participate in providing items for the toiletry bags please drop off the much needed items to the clubs listed above.
 
     Party Bags for Food Shelters:  Hawthorne Hotel, Second Floor, Salem.  Start time 10:00 am.  These bags provide items so that families can have celebrations in their family for loved ones.
                   Team Leader:  Amy Luckiewicz, Past President Wakefield Club.  Rotaractors will also be participating in this event.
 
12:30 to 1:30 pm Buffet Lunch:  House of the Seven Gables, 115 Derby St, Salem.  Walkable from the Hawthorne Hotel.  
Join us at this wonderful venue on the water for a bite to eat.  Enjoy a tour of the house if you wish either before or after lunch.  Cost of the Tour is not included in the full conference package or a la carte options.

2:00 to 3:00 pm Scavenger Hunt:  Meet back in the lobby of the Hawthorne Hotel for a fun filled scavenger hunt with fellow Rotarians and Rotaractors.  PDG Terri Kidder is organizing and this event is sure to be a blast!!
 
Downtime after Scavenger Hunt to enjoy friendship and fellowship.
 
6:00 pm till 10:30 pm  Presidents Gala with Parade of Presidents, Dinner and Awards!!!  Hawthorne Hotel Ballroom
