On May 28, 2022, come and place flags at Golden Gate National Cemetery, 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, CA 94066 to pay tribute to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. The Golden Gate National Cemetery was first opened in 1941 and is one of 131 National cemeteries in 39 states. It is the final resting place of 15 Medal of Honor recipients, Congressman Leo Ryan, and Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, commander of the US Pacific Fleet during World War II. Each year, Scouts, Scouters, veterans, and other community groups from all over the Bay Area gather in tribute to these gallant men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.

Advanced registration is required so that we can gather enough flag-planting pokers. NOTE: Registration ends on May 26, 2022. Dress in layers as the weather can be very cool, and wear closed toe shoes.

After the flag planting, we will gather for brunch and fellowship at Jack's Restaurant, 1050 Admiral Court, Suite A, San Bruno, CA 94066 where each person pays for his/her own meal. The brunch is optional, but advanced registration is required so that we can reserve enough seats. NOTE: Registration ends on May 26, 2022.
