Rotary International President Ian H.S. Riseley is hosting a Presidential Peacebuilding Conference in 2018 to explore the connection between peace and Rotary’s other education and literacy area of focus. By focusing on peace, education and literacy where Rotary does its most significant work, the series seeks to:
  • Elevate Rotary’s status as a global leader in peace, basic education, and literacy;
  • Demonstrate The Rotary Foundation’s impact on our causes;
  • Educate and inspire participants to increase their Rotary service;
  • Provide an opportunity for members and nonmembers to explore project partnerships.
Location:
The South Shore Cultural Center in Chicago located at 7059 S South Shore Dr, Chicago, Illinois is the site for the Presidential Peacebuilding Conference.   The South Shore Cultural Center was established in 1905, the same year Rotary International was founded.
