The 7th Annual Rotary District 5340 / USD Kroc School of Peace Studies Peace Forum convenes on Saturday, February 24 at the Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice Theater at USD. The Forum is presented by the Rotary District 5340 Pathways to Peace and the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. T
his year's Forum theme is Peacemakers, and will include presentations on:
- Defying Extremism,
- Contact Theory: An Approach to Peacebuilding,
- The Bent Prop Project: Making Peace Across Time and Distance,
- Presentations by the Rotary and Grillo-Marxuach Scholars on Peacebuilding, and
- Presentation of the prestigious District Peacemaker of the Year Award.
A continental breakfast and fellowship begin at 8:00 am; the program begins at 8:30 am sharp and concludes at 12 noon.
Tickets are $35 to the general public, but Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, their guests can have 100% of their registration fee WAIVED by using the form below. Special thanks to USD Kroc School of Peace Studies for absorbing the entire cost. Rotarians and Rotary-affiliated guests can attend for NO CHARGE, but note that seats are limited and reservations are required.
