RCGLB June Emergency Food Drive Fundraiser

Demand for food at pantries has surged by approximately 40% since mass layoffs began in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  With unemployment being as high as 15% and many businesses closing permanently the number of people being food insecure is likely to remain high for a year or more (njspotlight.com).  About 20% of those food insecure are children.
 
Our goal for June  is to reach $1,000  by June 30th.  The funds collected will be distributed to local food pantries in a check so they can purchase supplies needed the most.
