Our first official 2015-16 training event will be the Presidents-Elect Fall Retreat on October 11 at the University of San Diego Center for Peace and Justice. This is going to be a fun and inspiring event, held in conjunction with the WestCon Rotaract Convention.  As you know, Rotaractors are young, enthusiastic and energetic, which will serve to energize us as well.  There are two options for this event. The “mandatory” portion is 8am-1pm and the cost is $45 which includes breakfast and lunch.  There is an option to stay until the Convention concludes at 5pm for a cost of $60.  Both the opening and closing plenary session speakers look amazing!  Check out the links below to learn more.

PARKING:  PEs should note that the event is on the WEST end of campus, and you should enter USD's West Entrance off Linda Vista Road (do not enter the Main Entrance, because that is where Homecoming will be happening). For driving directions, click here

Retreat parking will be under the umbrella of the Big West Rotaract Conference. Permits are required; click here for instructions on ordering an e-permit online. While the instructions indicate a fee, there is NO CHARGE for the permit.

There are three options for parking this Saturday:

1. Beneath the KIPJ, on the first ramp level. Beyond that there is a pink warning sign that one enters Student Parking, which is not an option.

2. Across the street from the KIPJ to the East, in the Olin Hall (School of Business) lot. There are many parking spaces there.

3. Across the street from the KIPJ to the North, beneath the Hill Hall School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES). There are many parking spaces beneath that building. Entrance is all the way to the back of the building, and take the ramp down.
