13th Annual Model United Nations Conference

Model UN Banquet Dinner
Saturday evening, April 8, 2017, at 6 pm 
Crowne Plaza Hotel/Kona Coast Ballroom

 

 We would love to have you join us for our  Banquet in Mission Valley.

We will have a spectacular presentation by our keynote speaker,

Kevin S. Kennedy, formerly with the United Nations Executive Office of the Secretary-General (under Secretary-General Kofi Annan) and with the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support.

 

You will also be treated to an engaging display of the students addressing and resolving an “international crisis” that we spring on them right after the keynote presentation.

Filet Steak engulfed with Ham and Duxelles and wrapped in Puff Pastry

Rich Perigourdine Sauce

Accompanied by Roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes

Chef’s Seasonal Vegetables with toasted almonds and pomegranate seed garnish

 

 Tropical Sea Bass $51

 

Fresh Pan Grilled Sea Bass with garlic and Herbs de Provence

Topped with a luscious Tropical Fruit Medley (mango, papaya, pineapple and orange) in a nutmeg and sherry reduction

Served over Yellow Herbed Rice

Chef’s Seasonal Vegetables with toasted almonds and pomegranate seed garnish

 

 Roasted Cornish Game Hen $51

 

Tender Cornish Game Hen stuffed with wild rice, Fuji apples, golden raisins and sweet onions

Served with a Fennel Cranberry Sauce

Accompanied by Roasted Corn Mashed Potatoes

Chef’s Seasonal Vegetables with toasted almonds and pomegranate seed garnish

Roasted Portobello Mushroom

 

Roasted Portobello Mushroom with garlic, shallots, mixed crushed peppercorns, thyme, toasted pine nuts and pomegranate seeds

Enticing Champagne Sauce

Served over a bed of Quinoa and Roasted Tomatoes

Topped with a miniature Arugula Salad

A Delicious Tower of Eggplant, Portobello Mushroom, Red Onions, Spinach, Beef Steak Tomatoes, Zucchini and Yellow Squash
