Inbound Bootcamp 2019

The Fall Inbound Bootcamp is mandatory for inbound students and counselors. 
 

When:  September 6 to 8, 2019 
Where: Fantasyland Hotel - West Edmonton Mall 
Arrival: 6 pm Friday September 6 
Departure: 11:30 am Sunday September 8

• Inbound Counselor training
• Culture shock 
• Being a Rotary Ambassador 
• ZERO tolerance 4 Ds 
• Goal setting 
• Communication 
• Host families - first night questions, adaptability and other 
• Optional trips 
• And more! 

We have arranged a room block  at the West Edmonton Mall Inn . 
FOR COUNSELOR BOOKING:The cost of a room is $149.00 plus the tourism levy and GST ( 9%)   Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the Rotary Club. Staying at the Hotel is OPTIONAL.   To take advantage of the room block WEM INN Reservations are due no later than August 9, 2019.  Individual Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel Reservations Department directly at (780)444-3000 or toll-free 1-800-737-3783. Callers MUST mention they are attending the Rotary District 5370 Youth Services event or provide the group code number 3108600 to receive the negotiated rate.

FOR STUDENT BOOKINGS:  Remember that staying at the hotel is OPTIONAL, so if you have other arrangements for your student for the weekend that is fine. Rooms are shared between two students so the cost to your club for two nights will be $149.00 +GST and Tourism levy (totalling 9%). BEFORE JULY 26 please send an email to office@rotary5370.org to advise whether or not your student will be requiring a room.  We will organize a rooming list from this information. The hotel will ask for payment when the student checks in therefore please be with your student at that time to process payment.  If the room is booked and not used, or cancelled within 24 hours as required, your club will be invoiced for those costs.
