Join Rotarians from around the District for our annual District Training Day and Grant Management Seminar. This event is free to all Rotarians and includes a light breakfast and lunch.
District Training Assembly - 7:30am through lunch: Gather at 7:30 for a light breakfast with the program starting promptly at 8:15. There will be specific and critical breakout training for secretaries, treasurers, Assistant Governors and Foundation Chairs. Plus segments on Youth Services, Social Media, Membership, and the various Rotary websites (District and RI). All sessions are open to all, and you will have the opportunity to attend as many as 5 different modules by choice (perfect if you've been thinking about becoming a secretary or AG). Plus a dynamic lunchtime presentation on Community Assessment/Community Relevance.
Grant Management Seminar - 1:30 - 3pm: Two members from a club must attend the GMS in order to qualify for the 2019 District Grant program. This is important training for successfully applying, managing and reporting back on the club's District Grant. No exceptions.
New Member Orientation - 1:30 - 3pm: Perfect for any Rotarian who has joined Rotary in the past few years. Untangle your questions about Rotary, learn about Rotary's alphabet soup, come to understand the incredible and vast array of programs at both the District and International level, plus info about what your own club is up to.
