May Food Drive Fundraiser
The Rotary Club of Greater Long Branch has been raising money since March 2020 to help local food pantries provide much needed help to those in need during the pandemic. The unemployment caused by the pandemic is lessening but due to the highest inflation in over 40 years families are still having a tough time making ends meet and food insecurity is a major problem. The pantries are paying the higher prices for food as well, making it difficult for them to meet the needs of these families.
Our club’s goal for the month of May is to raise $1,000 to donate to local food pantries to help them serve the community more effectively.
